Description
So in the weekend I was at the Nordic Game Jam in Copenhagen and I made the game Hunky Punk.
In the game you play the Hunky Punk that has to protect a small girl which is being chased by small creepy enemies with weird masks. Everytime you smack an enemy with your chain you get enraged and grow. but if you grow to big the little girl gets scared of you and run away, and you lose. So you have to calm down by not smacking enemies. You have to keep the balance of smacking and not smacking.
From now and then the little girl screams and it releases a shock wave which make more enemies spawn.
It's a game with a lot of ambience. If we get it online somewhere I'll write it here, for those interested. :3
You control the Hunky Punk with an X-box controler connected to a PC.
The theme for this years Nordic Game Jam was grotesque.
I made the concept art for the game as well as texturizing the whole thing. The 3D models was made by
and the programming was made by my boyfriend 
and two other guy we met at the Jam. Thanks for an awesome Jam guys!!
For those who don't know what a game jam is, it's an event where a lot of people gather to make game in a weekend (it can be other durations as well though). So you have 48 hours to make a brand new game from concept to final. It's a ton of fun, so if you are interested in game development go find out when a Jam is held near you. You won't regret it. There are tons of Jams held around the world all the time and there are even quit a few held online, so you can jam for the safe location of your couch at home :3 Though I like it better when you actually go out and meet the people you jam together with
Just ask if you want to know more about game jamming. I've been to a few by now, only in Denmark though.
At first I planned to upload stuff during the jam, but decided there wasn't time for that and chose to just upload it all in one giant batch. SO! this is the 17th piece in my a piece a day challenge. It would have been the 17th and 18th to get one for both saturday and sunday, but it's easier to just put one up. ^_^' Please don't kill me for screwing up the counting.
